COMMON QUESTIONS1. What about bacteria? What about E-Coli and
other
bacterial infections?
Bacteria are present on everything, except
things
that have been sterilized. There are many species of bacteria, some are
beneficial and some are not. The level of
bacteria present on or in a product is very important and smaller levels of one
bacteria may be safe while a large level may be harmful. We test our products
for levels and types of bacteria. We ensure our products meet or surpass the
standard for human consumption.
2. What about parasites? Do dogs get parasites from eating raw
meat?
The most common parasite affecting dogs is worms, for example, tapeworms,
roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. Tapeworms, typically result from a dog
ingesting fleas, therefore, if the dog does not have fleas it should not get
tapeworms.
FarMore® uses specific ingredients, such as raw carrots, garlic, and oats that
help dogs rid themselves of parasites. Other raw foods that help to prevent or
get rid of parasites are pumpkin seeds, turnips, and beets.
3. Will my dog become aggressive or blood-thirsty from eating raw
meat?
No! There is absolutely no evidence to link this premise to reality.
