PET TRAVEL GUIDE

- Consider how much frozen dog food is required for the number of days you will be traveling with your dog.

- Store all dog food in an ice-filled thermal cooler or one equipped with a plug for your vehicles power outlet.

- Thoroughly wash your hands and all surfaces before and after handling the raw dog food.

- Use stainless steel dishes, as they are easier to clean and do not hold any toxins within the material.

- If any food is left over after the dog has finished eating, dispose of it. Wash your dog’s dish, do not allow the dish to sit overnight.

- After thawing, the dog food should be used within 2-3 days and kept in a hotel/motel refrigerator or ice-filled cooler.

- NEVER LEAVE YOUR DOG LOCKED IN A VEHICLE WITHOUT ADEQUATE VENTILATION, SHADE AND SOURCE OF WATER.
